یسوع مسیح کی خوشخبری۔

پاکستان کے چرچ کے لیے چند الفاظ ، جو مجھے پسند ہیں!

چونکہ یہ اس چرچ میں میری پہلی بار ہے میں آپ کو اپنے بارے میں تھوڑا سا بتاکر شروع کروں گا۔

میرا نام کونراڈ نیسٹرم ہے اور میں آج سویڈن ، بنگلہ دیش ، کینیا ، یوگنڈا اور تنزانیہ میں سفر اور تبلیغ کرتا ہوں۔ اور یسوعمسیح کے فضل سے میرے لیے پاکستان میں آن لائن تبلیغ کے دروازے کھل گئے ہیں۔

میں شمالی سویڈن میں ایک عیسائی خاندان میں پلا بڑھا۔ اتوار کے دن ، جب میں شاید دس سال کا تھا ، ہم اکثر چرچ جاتےتھے اور میرے والد نے اپنے باپ کے بازو میرے اور میرے چھوٹے بھائی آندریاس کے گرد رکھے تھے۔ میں اپنے والد کی غیرمشروط محبت کو ان کے بچوں کی طرح محسوس کر سکتا تھا اور میں چرچ کے احساس اور ماحول سے حیران رہ گیا۔ میں نےمحسوس کیا: واہ ، میں خدا کے گھر میں ہوں! خدا یہاں ہے! میں نے ماحول میں خدا کی محبت ، تقدس ، امن اور شان کومحسوس کیا۔ مجھے چرچ میں ادھر ادھر دیکھنا پسند تھا ، یسوع مسیح کی تصاویر دیکھنا اور مجھے چھت پر سونے کےحروف میں لکھے الفاظ پسند تھے: خدا محبت ہے! مجھے اپنے دل میں سوچنا یاد ہے: میں جاننا چاہوں گا کہ خدا کون ہے! اورمیں جاننا چاہوں گا کہ سچی محبت کیا ہے۔ میں تب خدا کا بچہ تھا اور خدا نے میرے دل کی خواہش کو دیکھا۔

لیکن جب میں بڑا ہوا تو میں یسوع سے دور چلا گیا ، اور اگرچہ میں باہر سے زندگی میں کامیاب رہا ، میرا اندرونی آدمی بہتخالی ، تنہا اور اداس تھا۔ مجھے خدا کے لیے اتنی آرزو تھی ، اور میں نو سال سے اپنے پورے دل سے اسے ڈھونڈ رہا تھا ،خاص طور پر بدھ مت اور نئے دور میں ، بلکہ ہندو مت ، اسلام ، نفسیات اور فلسفہ میں بھی۔ میں نے ہر جگہ تلاش کیا ، سوائےیسوع مسیح کے۔ اور مجھے کچھ نہیں ملا جو میری زندگی بدل دے یا میرے دل کی آرزو کو پورا کرے! مجھے خدا نہیں ملا ، اورمجھے محبت نہیں ملی۔

لیکن جب میری زندگی 2005 میں تباہ ہوگئی ، میں نے محسوس کیا کہ مجھے مدد کی ضرورت ہے ، اور میں نے یسوع کوڈھونڈنا شروع کیا ، اور پھر چیزیں ہونے لگیں۔ یسوع نے کہا: میں راستہ ، سچ اور زندگی ہوں۔ کوئی بھی باپ کے پاس نہیں آتاسوائے میرے ذریعے۔

کیونکہ جو کچھ یسوع مسیح نے صلیب پر کیا وہ تاریخ میں اب تک کی سب سے اہم چیز ہے اور یہ انسانیت اور ہر فرد کے لیےسب کچھ بدل دیتی ہے۔ یسوع کی موت کے بعد ہمارے تمام گناہوں کو خدا باپ کے سامنے ہمیشہ کے لیے مٹا دیا جاتا ہے۔ خدانہ صرف ہمارے پچھلے گناہ معاف کرتا ہے ، وہ انہیں یاد بھی نہیں کرتا۔ اور اپنے گناہوں کو معاف کرنا ایک شاندار ترسیل ہےاور ہمیں یسوع مسیح میں آزادی دیتا ہے جسے ہم بہت پسند کرتے ہیں اور اس کی قدر کرتے ہیں۔ یہ گناہوں کی معافی ہے جوکہ ایک بڑی وجہ ہے کہ یسوع مسیح کے پیروکار کے دل میں خوشی اور ہونٹوں پر گیت ہے۔

یہ جاننا کہ آپ کے گناہ معاف ہو گئے ہیں اور آپ کا نام جنت میں لکھا گیا ہے ہمیں ہر روز خدا کی تعریف کرنے اور خوشیمنانے کی وجہ فراہم کرتا ہے ، کیونکہ گناہوں کا بوجھ ہمارے کندھوں سے اتار دیا گیا ہے اور ہم اپنے گناہوں کی سزا سے آزادہیں۔ اور موسیٰ کی شریعت کے تحت غلامی کا جوا بھی ہمارے کندھوں سے اٹھا لیا گیا ہے۔ موسیٰ کا قانون ہمیں اپنے اندرونیانسان اور ضمیر میں ایک مستقل آواز دیتا ہے کہ: آپ کو ایسا کرنا چاہیے ، آپ کو ایسا نہیں کرنا چاہیے ، جس سے ہمیںہمیشہ خدا کے لیے قابل قبول اور قابل مذمت محسوس ہوتا ہے ، اور یہ ایک بہت بڑا بوجھ بھی ہے۔ لیکن یسوع مسیح نے ہمیںبھی اس سے نجات دی ہے! الحمدللہ!

پولس رسول کہتا ہے: اے موت تمہارا ڈنک کہاں ہے؟ اے پاگل ، تمہاری فتح کہاں ہے؟ موت کا ڈنک گناہ ہے اور گناہ کی طاقتقانون ہے۔ لیکن خدا کا شکر ہے جو ہمیں ہمارے خداوند یسوع مسیح کے ذریعے فتح عطا کرتا ہے۔

یسوع مسیح پر ایمان کے ذریعے ہم قانون ، گناہ اور موت کے تحت ہونے سے ہٹ گئے ہیں ، اور اب ہم خدا کے فضل کے تحت ہیں، خدا کی بادشاہی میں ، ایک بادشاہی جو فضل اور امن پر قائم ہے۔ پال کہتا ہے کہ خدا نے ہمیں اندھیرے کی طاقت سے نجاتدی ہے ، اور ہمیں اپنے پیارے بیٹے کی بادشاہی میں لایا ہے۔ اس میں ہمارے پاس اس کے خون کے ذریعے چھٹکارا ہے ، گناہوںکی معافی۔ (کلسیوں 1: 13-14)

اور اب خدا اپنی محبوب مخلوقات سے بھی التجا کر رہا ہے ، اس کی تخلیق کا موتی: مرد اور عورت۔ پال کہتا ہے (2 کرنسی5:20): اب ہم مسیح کے سفیر ہیں ، گویا خدا ہمارے ذریعے التجا کر رہا ہے: ہم مسیح کی طرف سے آپ سے التجا کرتے ہیں ،خدا سے صلح کرو! یسوع نے قیمت ادا کی ہے ، لہذا خدا کہتا ہے: براہ کرم ، میرے پاس واپس آؤ ، نجات اور معافی حاصل کرو! خدا التجا کر رہا ہے اور چاہتا ہے کہ ہم اس کے پاس آئیں اور جو کچھ اس نے مسیح میں ہمارے لیے کیا ہے اسے حاصل کریں۔

اور انجیل دراصل بہت آسان ہے۔ خدا کے بیٹے یسوع مسیح کو باپ نے زمین پر بھیجا ، وہ صلیب پر گیا ، بالکل معصوم اور گناہسے پاک ، اور پھر یسوع صلیب پر ہمارے گناہوں کی وجہ سے مر گیا۔ اور تیسرے دن وہ مُردوں میں سے جی اُٹھا تاکہ ہمیںراستبازی دے۔ اور ہر وہ شخص جو مسیح پر ایمان رکھتا ہے اور صلیب پر اس کے کام کو بچاتا ہے ، ایمان کے ذریعے فضلسے ، خدا باپ کی طرف سے بطور تحفہ ، مفت میں۔ اور آج یسوع مسیح جنت میں ہے اور ایک دن یسوع واپس آئے گا۔ یہ انجیلہے!

لیکن بدقسمتی سے آج پوری دنیا میں بہت سی خوشخبریوں کی منادی کی جا رہی ہے۔ آج کا سب سے مشہور پوپ ہے ، پوریدنیا میں سفر کرتے ہوئے یہ تبلیغ کرتا ہے کہ تمام مذاہب کا ایک ہی خدا ہے ، ایک پیغام جو بہت مشہور ہے۔ لیکن بدقسمتی سےیہ سچ نہیں ہے ، یہ ایک اور انجیل ہے۔ لیکن امیر بننے ، کامیاب اور آسان طرز زندگی ، صحت اور دولت کے بارے میںخوشخبری ، خوشخبری جہاں گناہ کا کوئی ذکر نہیں ہے اور ہر کوئی بالآخر جنت میں آتا ہے وہ وسیع اور مقبول ہیں۔ یہافسوسناک ہے ، لیکن یہ سچ ہے۔ لیکن یہ دوسری انجیلیں ہیں۔

لیکن پولس رسول نے یہ واضح کر دیا ہے کہ کوئی اور انجیل نہیں ہے اور یہ کہ انجیل کو تبدیل کرنا دراصل بہت سنجیدہ ہے(گلتیوں 1: 6-10)۔ کیوں؟ کیونکہ خدا جانتا ہے کہ انجیل ہی نجات کا واحد راستہ ہے ، اور اگر ہم اسے تبدیل کرتے ہیں تو ہملوگوں کو مفت کے موقع سے محروم کرتے ہیں ، فضل سے ، جو کچھ یسوع مسیح نے ہمارے لیے کیا ہے اس میں سے حصہ لیں۔انجیل کو تبدیل نہ کریں!

جب ہم یسوع مسیح اور روح القدس کو حاصل کرتے ہیں ، ہم خدا کی فطرت کا حصہ بن رہے ہیں ، ہم خدا کے ساتھ متحد ہورہے ہیں اور یسوع مسیح کی مشابہت اختیار کر رہے ہیں۔ یہ حیرت انگیز ہے. ہمارے پاس اب ایک نیا دل ، دماغ اور شخصیتہے۔ جی ہاں ، بدقسمتی سے ہم میں اب بھی پرانی گناہ کی فطرت موجود ہے ، جسے ہم اب اور پھر دیکھ سکتے ہیں اور اسےبھولنا یا انکار کرنا بہت سنجیدہ ہے ، کیونکہ  1:  John 1:8 جان کہتا ہے کہ اگر ہم کہیں کہ ہمارے پاس کوئی گناہ نہیں ہے ،ہم اپنے آپ کو دھوکہ دیتے ہیں اور سچ ہم میں نہیں ہے۔ یہ سنجیدہ ہے۔ میں جانتا ہوں کہ آج بہت مشہور تبلیغ یہ کہہ رہی ہےکہ مسیح کے پیروکار کی حیثیت سے آپ کو صرف اس بات کا اقرار کرنا چاہیے کہ آپ اس میں ہیں ، پاک ، راستباز اور پاک ،اور کیا آپ یہ نہیں کہتے کہ آپ کسی بھی قسم کے گنہگار ہیں ، ایک بھی نہیں گنہگار نے فضل سے بچایا لیکن اگر ہم کہتےہیں کہ سچ ہم میں نہیں ہے ، اور یہ بہت سنجیدہ ہے کیونکہ یسوع سچ ہے اور اگر ہم میں سچ نہیں ہے تو ہمارے پاس یسوعنہیں ہے۔

A few words to the church in Pakistan, which I love! 

Since it’s my first time in this church I will start by telling you a little bit about myself. 

My name is Konrad Nyström and I travel and preach today in Sweden, Bangladesh, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. And by the grace of Jesus Christ doors have been opened for me to preach online in Pakistan. 

I grew up in a Christian family in northern Sweden. On Sundays, when I was maybe ten years, we often went to church and my father put his fatherly arms around me and my little brother Andreas. I could feel the unconditional love of my father to us as his children and I was amazed by the feeling and the atmosphere in the church. I felt: wow, I am in the house of God! God is here! I felt the love, holiness, the peace and glory of God in the atmosphere. I loved looking around in the church, look at the pictures of Jesus Christ and I loved the Words written in letters of gold in the ceiling: God is love! I remember thinking in my heart: I would like to know who God is! And I would love to know what true love is. I was then a child of God and God saw the desire of my heart. 

But when I grew up I walked away from Jesus, and even though I was successful in life on the outside, my inner man was so empty, lonely and sad. I had such a longing for God, and I was seeking Him for nine years with all of my heart, especially in Buddhism and New Age, but also in Hinduism, Islam, psychology and philosophy. I sought everywhere, except through Jesus Christ. And I found nothing that would change my life or meet the longing of my heart! I did not find God, and I didn’t find love. 

But when my life crashed 2005, I realized that I needed help, and I started to seek Jesus, and THEN things started to happen. Jesus said: I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 

That’s the way it is. When we start to pray to Jesus, read the Bible, that’s when we find God, and also can receive His love, grace and peace. That’s the best thing that can ever happen to you in this life, and if we could even come close of understanding what faith in Jesus Christ means for Eternity, what Heaven really is like, we would shout of joy almost all the time! 

I say this in love for all people, I believe there is a longing in every person for God, somewhere on the inside, in Muslims and Hindus, and even atheists, but you can never find God except through Jesus Christ. I know this is true because of my own experience, but also because of what Jesus said: no one comes to the Father except through Me. it’s the truth. And you can only be saved through the Name of Jesus Christ and by faith in Him and in what Jesus did on the cross. Under the Heavens there is no other Name in which we can be saved, said the apostle Peter on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 4:12). 

Because what Jesus Christ did on the cross is the most important thing ever been accomplished in history, and it changes everything for mankind and every single person. After Jesus’s death all of our sins are wiped out before God the Father for all of Eternity. God doesn’t only forgive our past sins, He even doesn’t remember them. And to be forgiven your sins is a wonderful delivery and gives us the freedom in Jesus Christ which we love and appreciate so much. It’s the forgiveness of sins that is a big reason why a follower of Jesus Christ has a joy in his heart and a song on his lips. 

To know that your sins are forgiven and your name is written in Heaven gives us reason to praise God and rejoice every day, because the burden of sin has been lifted off our shoulders and we are free from the punishment for our sins. And the yoke of slavery under the Law of Moses, is also lifted off from our shoulders. The Law of Moses gives us a constant voice in our inner man and conscience saying: you must do that, you mustn’t do that, making us always feel not acceptable for God and condemned, and it’s also a very heavy burden. But Jesus Christ has delivered us from that too! Hallelujah! 

The apostle Paul says: o death where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin and the strength of sin is the Law. But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through Our Lord Jesus Christ. 

Through faith in Jesus Christ we have been moved from being under the Law, sin, and death, and we are now under the Grace of God, in the Kingdom of God, a Kingdom built upon grace and peace. Paul says that God has delivered us from the power of darkness, and brought us into the Kingdom of His Beloved Son. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. (Colossians 1:13-14). 

We don’t belong to this world anymore, we belong to the Kingdom of God. 

The Lord spoke to me through my mother the day before I received Jesus Christ, and He said: in this world it’s about power, strength and courage, but in the Kingdom of God it’s about grace, peace and compassion with the weak. Hallelujah. It’s a wonderful Kingdom and a Wonderful King, Jesus Christ, full of grace and truth. What a King! But our King doesn’t rule by force like Putin, Erdogan, Trump or Biden, no, our King rules by grace and gave His Own Life for us on the cross. 

And what Jesus did was also totally necessary. If Jesus hadn’t gone to the cross, not a single person through history could have been saved. Everyone of us would have been lost for Eternity. Because there is something that we call sin, and Paul says that all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23). If I just once in my life have told something that wasn’t true, stolen a single pencil, looked twice at a woman who is not my wife, I have sinned and I have a debt before God, and I can’t pay it back myself. But Jesus Christ has paid the price in full and all of our sins are forgiven! The Son of God has paid the price, so now God offers everyone to be forgiven and reconciled with God by faith in Jesus Christ. 

And now God is even pleading to His beloved creations, His pearl of the Creation: man and woman. Paul says (2 Cor 5:20): now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God! Jesus has paid the price, so God says: please, come back to Me, receive salvation and forgiveness! God is pleading and longing for us to come to Him and receive what He has done for us in Christ. 

And The gospel is actually very simple. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was sent to earth by the Father, He went to a cross, totally innocent and free from sin, and then Jesus died on the cross for our sins. And on the third day He rose from the dead, to give us righteousness. And everyone who believes in Christ and His work on the cross is saved, by grace through faith, as a gift from God the Father, for free. And today Jesus Christ is in Heaven and one Day Jesus will return. This is the gospel!

But unfortunately today there are many different gospels being preached all over the World. The most famous one today is the Pope, traveling all over the world preaching that all religions have the same God, a message that is very popular. But unfortunately That’s not true, that’s another gospel. But also gospels about becoming rich, having a successful and easy lifestyle, of health and wealth, gospels where there is no mentioning of sin and everyone ultimately comes to Heaven are widespread and popular. It’s sad, but it’s true. But those are other gospels. 

But the Apostle Paul makes it very clear that there IS no other gospel and that it’s actually very serious to change the gospel (Galatians 1:6-10). Why? Because God knows that the gospel is the Only Way to be saved, and if we change it we rob people of the opportunity to for free, by grace, take part of what Jesus Christ has done for us. Don’t change the gospel! 

The cross with Jesus’s death and resurrection is what Jesus has done for us, and it’s the most important thing. but there is also something that Jesus wants to do in us, through the Holy Spirit. And it’s something wonderful, a transformation of our lives, of our hearts and minds. Paul says that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.

When we receive Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, we are taking part of the nature of God, we are being united with God and are being made into the Likeness of Jesus Christ. It’s amazing. We have now a new heart, mind and personality. Yes, unfortunately we still also have the old sin nature in us, which we can see now and then and it’s very serious to forget or deny that, because 1 (1:8) John says that if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. That’s serious. I know that there is very popular preaching today saying that as a follower of Christ you should only confess what you are in Him, Holy, Righteous and Clean, and don’t you say that you are a sinner of any kind, not even a sinner saved by grace. But If we say that the truth is not in us, and that’s very serious because Jesus IS the truth and if we don’t have the truth in us, we don’t have Jesus. 

No, we have two natures, and will have until Heaven, but we DO have a new nature, that is born by God and that wants to do what’s good, that wants to please God and that loves Jesus Christ, and that’s wonderful. We also have the Fruit of the Spirit, like love, joy and peace in our hearts, and that’s wonderful. In my old life I always felt empty and sad, but now there is a new love and joy in me, because Jesus lives inside of me. 

And as we walk with Jesus, He wants us to be made more like Him. Paul says that God has predestined us to be conformed to the Image of His Son (Romans 8:29). Jesus wants us to be more and more filled with love, grace and peace, more Holy and Christlike in our character and hearts, and God wants that we show Him how much we love Him and see a yearning and longing in us to receive more of Jesus in our hearts. And this work is made by the Holy Spirit, and He does it, not we, but our part is to spend time with Jesus reading the Word of God, pray and worship, and to listen carefully to His words of encouragement and correction. Encouragement is very important, but we also need to listen to correction.

This is the gospel. Jesus Christ has washed all of our sins away through His shed blood, and we who are in Christ have been forgiven, made righteous and given an Eternal life in Heaven. That’s an awesome gift from God! We serve a good and generous God! Paul says (Romans 8:32): He who did not spare His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things. We are co-heirs with Jesus Christ, and we will forever and ever share the riches of Heaven with Christ. Amazing. To a brother the Lord once said: everything that is Mine, is also yours. Incredible, but the Word of God confirms it, and that treasure is kept for us in Heaven, where no one can steal or take it away from us. 

And if this wouldn’t be enough, God also gives us a new life here on earth, transformed into the Image of Jesus Christ, and we can already here on earth have a foretaste of Heaven by enjoying grace, peace, love and joy from Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit inside of us. 

All of this that I have spoken about tonight is ours, thanks to Jesus, and it’s all given to us by grace, as a gift. And all we can say now is: thank you Jesus for everything you have done for us, we love you so much Jesus, and we are happy and grateful to be called your children and to serve You, and we ask You to glorify Your Holy Name in us and through us. In Jesus Name. Amen.
