From Revelations 3:7: And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: ‘These things says He who is Holy, He who is True, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: 

“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, but you have kept My word, and have not denied My name. 

Indeed I will make thoseof the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. 

Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. 12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on himMy new name.

13 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’

This is what the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God Himself, says to the church of Philadelphia. 

This church is given only praise, encouragement and love from Jesus Christ. The other churches have something that is good and some things that are not good, some less, others more, but when the Lord thinks of this church, it’s like He is filled with love and from His Mouth comes only comfort, encouragement and spiritual blessings. This church is like a precious stone in His Eyes. It can be compared with the church in Philippi for the apostle Paul, who could give quite a lot of corrections in his letters, but the Philippians received almost only love, warmth, comfort and the church was a joy and a pearl to Paul. 

The church in Philadelphia is a joy to Jesus, a Faithful church and a Crown to the Lord, and it receives so much praise from Him. This church is then followed by Laodicea, a lukewarm church that made the Lord want to throw up, and it receives more correction and rebuke from the Lord than any other church. But we mustn’t forget, that even that church is given the opportunity to repent, so we should never give up on anyone before the race is finished! Many Bible teachers say that these two churches are a picture of the the last days, when there will be two churches: a lukewarm church and a faithful one. 

Sad to say there are a lot of Laodicea churches all over the world today, and if I am grieved by that, I believe that Heaven is weeping. 

But there are also Philadelphia churches here and there, churches, and even individuals, which make the Lord rejoice over them in an abundance of grace and love when He looks at them. And the church of Obolokome is one of those churches, and I will try to say a few words to you today, and as the Lord had only praise for Philadelphia, and as the apostle Paul had only love and joy over the church in Philippi, me and dada Liliane have only praise and love for you in Obolokome. 

The Lord Jesus Christ is Holy and True, and He has opened up a door for you, and no one can shut it. By the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, God Almighty has opened up the door for salvation and Eternal life for you, and no one can shut it. Jesus says that He knows your works, and what you do for Jesus is pleasing to Him, because you have a little strength but you have kept His Word and not denied His Name. 

Maybe someone will say: Konrad, you say that this church is given only praise, but the Lord says that the church has only a little strength, isn’t that at least something that the Lord is rebuking this church of? No, it’s not a problem for Jesus Christ if we have a little strength, because Jesus Christ has an abundance of grace and strength for us, that’s not a problem for Jesus! That’s an opportunity, because those who are strong and righteous in themselves, they don’t need Jesus to give them grace, righteousness and strength. 

No, Jesus is rejoicing when we have a little strength, because then the Lord can let His Spirit fill us and give us of His strength, because strength is made perfect in weakness, and when I am weak, then I am strong says the Word of God. 

No, this church received so much encouragement and love from the Lord, and is given amazing promises, about Heaven, but also here on earth. The Lord has clearly shown me that difficult times will come, especially here in the Western World, but also in Africa, but God says that He will keep you in the hour of trial which will come upon all of the world. I believe that God will keep your church in the time of testing, because of your faithfulness to Christ, and maybe even “false Jews”, I mean “false believers in Jesus Christ”, will come to Obolokome and fall down before your feet and say: please, what is it that your church has that we don’t? Give us of your oil, give us of the Spirit that’s upon you, because our lamps are going out, as Jesus said about the ten virgins. Because so many believers in Jesus Christ are into false gospels and deceptive spirits today, and their lamps will fade and go out. But then your lamps will not go out, you will shine as lamps in the darkness, because Jesus said that the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. 

No, Philadelphia received only praise, no correction, and I feel the same thing about Obolokome. But the Lord gave the church one single Word of caution to give attention to: Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. 

Jesus Christ and the apostles warn that in the last days there will be false apostles, prophets and false gospels, and they will seduce many, and no matter how much Jesus loves your church, you will also be tempted by other gospels and meet false prophets, and you have to be aware of that. So don’t trust people who prophecies all the time, who do Great miracles and wonders, in the Name of Jesus Christ, don’t be deceived by their Great deeds. Jesus said you will know them by their fruit! Many people will say: look, this tree bears so good fruit, miracles, gathers many people, but that’s not what Jesus is speaking about. 

No, look at at the Fruit of the Spiritso you can discern to whom they belong. And it’s love, joy and peace and so on. The church of Obolokome has their names written in Heaven, so don’t let any take your crown away from you! 

I am NOT saying this because I today feel that you are into false gospels, no, on the contrary, but I believe that it will come to you also and you have to take heed and have your spirit ready and awake to see and discern what’s of Jesus Christ and not.)

I am also so blessed, touched and inspired by the faith in Obolokome. You are facing a lot of challenges, cattle raiders and no rain, but still you lift up your eyes and praise the Lord and still you work for the salvation of people and you rejoice more when someone is saved than when the rain comes over Obolokome! Hallelujah hallelujah that’s wonderful to see! 

And the only treasure worth mentioning is in Heaven, it’s the only goal really worth working for here on earth. Because Your treasure in Heaven can’t be stolen, it can’t dry out because of little rain, no, it stands and even grows greater day by day as more people are saved in Obolokome. Yes, of course we have to work for bread on the table, and we do a good work, but our hearts are not there, we are not working primarily for that, but for something more valuable.

Because the Bible clearly speaks about a reward in Heaven, and the church of Philadelphia is given some amazing promises. The Lord said: He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on himMy new Name. 

Imagine what God is saying, “I will write on him My New Name”, what an amazing promise and reward this church has in Heaven. And it’s also for you, me and all the true believers in Christ all over the world. We gather our treasure in Heaven. 

So let’s keep working for salvation of people and pray and seek the Lord and His Will as long as it’s daylight. Because Jesus Christ is soon coming back, and we want to meet Him with a harvest in our hands. And we are all a part of the harvest, even though you may not be a soul winner, you can still be a person that prays for the soul winners or for the unsaved, or for believers who are backsliding, and thus you are also an important part of the harvest, so we have to have a broader perspective than just winning the lost, the important thing is that you are following Jesus! But it’s a great joy in Heaven when someone is saved, so how can we not rejoice on earth? 

And, my beloved friends, Jesus Christ is soon coming back. When me and dada Liliane were in Kenya in October 2019 she received a Word from the Lord: I hear the sound of Footsteps. Be ready to be raptured up in the sky, to meet Me. 

Wow. Behold, I am coming quickly! Was what the Lord said to the church. 

Jesus Christ is soon coming back to earth, and what a Day it’s going to be! There will be a joy and a freedom which is indescribable. We love the Coming of Jesus Christ. And if any church in the world would be looking forward to His Coming, it’s you, because there will be a reward, a great grace and gift from the Lord, a crown of victory for the church in Obolokome. Hold fast what you have, as the Lord said to Philadelphia, so that no one may take your crown! 

Hallelujah hallelujah. Church in Karamoja, the victory is yours, it’s ours, rejoice with all of your hearts, because Jesus Christ loves you so much and He is rejoicing over you with singing! I end by quoting ackuat Joseph, he said: Konrad and dada Liliane, we love you so much and will keep loving and praying for you until Jesus comes back. Amen! That’s what we also say to the church in Obolokome, the pearl of Uganda in our eyes and in the Eyes of Jesus Christ! Amen.
