Build your faith now, upon the Rock, before the storm comes
I will in this sermon speak about what is soon to come, and how to get ready. I believe that this message is very important, so please try to listen to me carefully to what I have to say.
In Matthew 7 Jesus says: therefore everyone who hears these Words of Mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
There is a storm coming. The United States and Western Europe is standing on the brink of a catastrophe, a collapse, and that will affect also the rest of the world, so we all need to prepare.
How do I know this? First of all it’s what the Bible says, a time of great suffering will come upon the world in the last days. It’s also what the Lord has shown me in many dreams, I have had about 20 dreams about a Russian attack on Sweden, also just a week ago, and also dreams about Russia preparing for war and a coming conflict between USA and China. I have read other prophecies saying the same thing: there is a conflict coming between Russia and China against USA and Western Europe. and Russia and China will win, because God will not fight for the West, because God’s protection and blessings are gone. I also see it with my eyes, the tensions between East and West getting stronger.
When will this come? Same say 2022. But I don’t know, the Lord hasn’t shown me. But I can see it’s coming.
But The Lord tells you: don’t be afraid, God doesn’t give us prophecies to scare us, but Jesus wants His people to be prepared and ready for what’s coming, that’s why He sent me to preach this.
But you need to prepare now, before the storm comes, because later it will be more difficult, because of the chaos. Not impossible, because God will still be good and Merciful and hear your prayer, but it’s best to make sure you are steadfast in Christ and rooted in the Word of God now.
I don’t want the judgement of God to come upon the West, but who can accuse God of not being righteous in His judgements, who can say: God, You have not been long suffering, You have not been merciful, You have not warned us! No, God has warned us many times through His prophets and has shown us His long suffering for many years! No one can accuse God. Revelations say: for true and righteous are His judgements.
But I believe with all my heart that Jesus, in the midst of all this, will show how good and merciful He is, by letting many people find grace and salvation in Christ when they cry out to God when this comes. I believe there is still time now, but When the judgment of God comes upon Sweden and USA, it’s too late for the nation. But it will never be too late for the individual!
And Jesus will show how good and Faithful He Is in how He treats His own children.
Because We will have Divine protection through it all. Jesus’s enemies tried to stone Him, but they didn’t succeed before His time had come to go to he cross. They tried to kill the apostle Paul many times, but they couldn’t kill him before his race was finished. The same thing goes for us as long as we walk with Jesus. It doesn’t mean that we are immortal, but the Lord God Almighty will have His Hand and angels guarding us so no one can touch us before it’s time to go to Heaven.
In John chapter 14 Jesus says: do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust in Me also. In My Father’s house are many rooms, if it were not so, I would have told you. I Am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me, that you also may be where I Am.
These verses speak about the Coming of Jesus Christ back to this world, and Jesus is coming back soon. We see the beginning of the birth pains. The Corona virus is the beginning of the birth pains, but it will get harder.
But as always when God has something to say about the future or reveals Himself to a man, God says: fear not! Do not be troubled! God knows what has been, what is now and what is to come. God is in full control and Jesus holds the future totally in His Hands.
But It will look for those who don’t have spiritual eyes, as if everything is out of control. There will be chaos and fear, And out of it the Antichrist will rise to power. He will come as an angel of light, as a saviour. He will not say: good news, I am the Antichrist and I am very, very evil and I am here to bring destruction to you! No, I believe he will seem very good, have a message of security, peace, unity, love and unite the world politically and unite all religions into one, and say they all have the same God. He will also do great spiritual signs and wonders and deceive many.
David Wilkerson, a great man of God, prophesied that in the last days there will be a worldwide super church, a union of Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant Christians, under the Pope. But there will also be an underground church, very much like the first church. It will be spirit filled, on fire with love for Jesus. it will be persecuted by the Super Church, But it will still be a victorious church! The Lord will strengthen and guide that church with the Holy Spirit in a wonderful way, not seen since the first church.
And Haggai says that the Glory of the Coming Temple shall be greater than the former. today we are the Temple of God, and I believe that the Glory upon the end time church will be as great as or even greater than the Glory of the first church. And that’s amazing. So even if hard times come, trust the Lord to do Mighty things in you and through you.
Now if this is what to come, How should we prepare.
Most important is to build your faith, and that you do by reading the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing. Jesus spoke about a house built on the Rock, meaning building your faith and life upon the Words of the Lord Jesus Christ. To build upon sand is to build your faith upon emotions and spiritual experiences, instead of the Word. I also have feelings, and I have been given, by the grace of God, great spiritual revelations, and it’s wonderful, but these things come and go, because you don’t see Jesus all the time, you are not filled with the fruit of the Spirit all the time.
But the Words of Christ, they don’t come and go. Jesus said: Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words shall by no means pass away.
The Words Jesus spoke stands forever, So build your faith upon the Word! And Read all of it, but focus especially upon the promises of God. Read them so you know at least some by heart.
Read also about God’s faithfulness, and that you see especially in the Old Testament. The people of Israel were unfaithful time and again, and even though God corrected them, He did not abandon them. And again and again He brought them back to the Promised Land, and He has done so again with establishing Israel, unthinkable only 80 years ago! That’s how Faithful the Lord is.
Also to me Jesus has shown an amazing faithfulness. I can’t in words describe how faithful, good and kind Jesus has been to me. But God has no respect for person! He will be the same to you! So build a picture of a God who is good and faithful, even when we are weak, unfaithful or being tested, because that’s the truth about God.
Read also about how great and Almighty our God Is. in the charismatic church in the West, that picture is challenged today. A famous preacher called Bill Johnson says: God is in charge, but He is not in control. He has given that to us.
if you don’t believe that God is Almighty and in full control, even when things are in chaos, I believe that your faith may be very shaken. You might say: what’s happening? I have lost control! It means God has also lost control!
But it’s not true. The Bible shows clearly that our God, the Lord, is ruler of Heaven and earth. A few days ago I looked up at the stars here in Africa, and I stood amazed. Our God, the Lord, has created all of this. And even more: the Lord holds the Universe in one Hand. He knows exactly where every single atom is in the Universe. The Lord, He Is God, And He is in FULL control!
He was Mighty to deliver His people from Pharaoh, to split the Red Sea, to keep the Jewish men in the burning oven. Before this storm comes, we have to build a picture of a God who is Almighty, All-powerful, Faithful and is Mighty to save and preserve also in chaos.
And If you spend most of your time in front of the TV, you might be filled with despair, fear and discouragement, when you see pictures from USA and Europe. But if you spend a lot of time in the Word of God, and look mostly on Jesus, you will be filled with peace, love, faith and hope because you will see: God Is Almighty! Things might seem to be spinning out of control, but God is still in full control! And Jesus is not afraid of anything!
And when you combine the news with the Word of God, you will also understand: Jesus, You are at the door now! Your coming is near! And those who belong to Jesus can be filled with hope, joy and singing, because deliverance, liberty, and Heaven is waiting! What a message of hope we have!
Prepare also in prayer. Become a praying person. God hears our prayer. In Africa I believe many of you already are praying, but sadly not so many in the West. So if you don’t pray, start, and if you do, keep praying. Ask for more faith, and more of the Holy Spirit. Ask also for more love, because the love of Jesus Christ is not only soft and sweet, it’s also strong. Love is patient, love is kind, yes, but love also bears all things, it hopes all things, it endures all things. So prepare by praying and reading the Bible.
But I believe with all my heart that the Lord will do amazing things to His people, especially by pouring out His Holy Spirit. God is Faithful, and when we are tested, He will assist us, we shall not be tested above our capability. We shall go into this with faith and even expectation.
Haggai says: I will shake the Heaven and earth. I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, I will destroy the strength of the Gentile kingdoms. I will overthrow the chariots and those who ride in them. The horses and the riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother. I believe this is about God’s enemies.
But then follows: in that day, says the Lord of Hosts, I will take you, Zerubabbel, My servant, the son of Shealtiel, and make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you, says the Lord of hosts. I believe that’s for the servants of the Lord.
And Malachi speaks about a book of remembrance for those who fear the Lord. They shall be Mine, says the Lord of Hosts, on the day that I make them my jewels. And I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him. Then you shall again discern between the wicked and the righteous, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.
These parts of the Scriptures are of course to that time, but I believe it’s also to us, about the end of times, a coming shaking when God will show His Might but spare His own people. Yes, we will be tested, but God will provide strength, grace, and provision for us if we hold on to Him.
If we say like Peter: though everyone denies You, I will not! Then we will fall, because we rely upon ourselves. But in John 21, there was another tone in Peter. Jesus asks: Simon, do you love Me. The word in Greek is Agape, to love abundantly. But this time Peter is humble, and in Greek he answers: fileo. It means: You know I like You! Or: You know You are dear to me. Peter chooses another word, a weaker word. You don’t see it in the English translation, but in Greek and Swedish it’s clear. From this moment, Peter doesn’t boast about his love for Jesus, doesn’t look at himself as stronger than the others, more loyal. No, he knows he is weak, but he says: Jesus, You know my heart! I am weak, but I trust You to help me! and that’s when God’s power can come.
This is the prayer we should pray: Jesus, I don’t have the strength, the faith, the love or loyalty to go through this. But Jesus, You have it all! So, Jesus, here I am! I trust You to give me strength and grace to go through, and I put all my trust and my life into Your Almighty Hands, because I know You are able! Jesu Anaweza! Kwa nema ya Mungo, we will go through!
And remember, as believers in Jesus Christ we always have a future and a hope, and even more, we have always the best things ahead of us! You can expect the Lord to do amazing things in you and through you, even in the hard times. You can expect the Lord to help you, strengthen you and guide you and even use you!
And even more: you have an Eternity waiting for you in Heaven, an amazingly great reward. Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. Amazing. We think it’s wonderful to belong to Jesus here on earth, but it’s nothing, nothing compared with what is waiting in Heaven. Romans says: if we are children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified with Him.
So If the future becomes difficult, then think about Jesus’s words: now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift your heads, because your redemption, your deliverance, draws near. We should meet the future with hope and even joy, because good things are ahead, although also difficult.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and Eternal weight of Glory.
This life is so short, and even our suffering is just for a while. But Jesus says it’s like a woman giving birth. It’s painful, but afterwards she doesn’t think about that, she only rejoices over the child. Romans says that we rejoice in the hope of Glory! Rejoice and think about what’s coming! In Heaven we will laugh and sing, and our suffering will seem so short, so insignificant in comparison with the grace and glory that’s been given to us.
So think about Heaven, sing about Heaven, speak about the Coming of Jesus Christ with your beloved brothers. God has prepared something amazing for those who love Him, bwana Jesu asifiwe, and we have been given the victory by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, hallelujah! Victory is ours! Amen.
